A Note from Our Founder
Hi, I’m Elle, the founder of Elle Excel Tutoring.
I’ve been teaching for over six years, specialising in English Language, English Literature, and French, and I’ve had the privilege of supporting students aged 4 to 18. Over the years, I’m proud to say that every student I’ve taught has achieved and often exceeded their target grade.
I founded Elle Excel Tutoring because I wanted to offer more than traditional tutoring. I believe that meaningful progress happens when teaching is personalised, structured, and confidence-building. Every student I work with receives an individual learning plan designed around their strengths, areas for development, and academic goals, because no two learners are the same.
My approach combines a clear academic structure with encouragement, mindset support, and effective exam strategies. I don’t just teach content; I teach students how to think, how to structure their answers, and how to approach exams with clarity and confidence. Parents are kept informed through clear feedback and progress updates, ensuring they always understand their child's development and the areas where improvements are being made.
Alongside tutoring, my background as a performing arts educator has shaped the way I teach. It has taught me that confidence, communication, and self-belief play a huge role in academic success, particularly in essay-based subjects like English. I bring creativity, energy, and a focus on growth into every lesson, helping students feel confident expressing their ideas and proud of their progress.
